A few weeks ago we showed you the leaked pictures of the all-new 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG sedan, now we finally have a look at the first official pictures of the C63 AMG sedan and station wagon. The cars will make their official debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in March.
The AMG versions of the C-Class keep the visual upgrades that the C-Class received with the addition of more aggressive front fascia’s and new sporty wheels. Under the hood is the NA 6.2 liter V8 engine that produces 457 horsepower and 442 pound-feet (600 Nm) of torque. The cars get Mercedes’ new 7-speed MCT sports transmissions which improve fuel consumption by up to 10% compared to prior year’s cars and help the C63 AMG sedan achieve a 0 – 62 mph in 4.5 seconds and the C63 AMG station wagon in 4.6 seconds. There is an engine upgrade package that ups the horsepower by 30 and reduces the 0 – 62 mph time by 0.1 seconds for both versions.
The Mercedes-Benz C63 sedan and station wagon will go on sale in the summer of 2011.
