Mcchip-dkr Tuned Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

As we already know, Mercedes-Benz’s performance division AMG already puts out ridiculous horsepower out of every car they build. But to some people that’s not enough, car tuning company Mcchip-dkr decided that the factory C63 AMG with 480hp out of the 6.2L V8 wasn’t good enough. So how did they manage to extract 650 horsepower and 553 pound-feet (750 Nm) of torque out of the V8? They strapped on a supercharger to the V8, hold on for dear life.

With the addition of the supercharger to the 6.2 liter V8, they also fiddled with the ECU by tuning it to match the supercharger and also added a new custom exhaust with a sport catalyst. With all that power, the C63 AMG needed to handle like a sports sedan, so Mcchip-dkr added KW –clubsport suspension and new 9” x 20” MB rims in the front and 10.5” x 20” in the rear, on some sticky Dunlop Sortmaxx tires.

To garnish extra attention on the street for their creation, Mcchip-dkr wrapped the C63 in a special foil from CoverEFX.

The engine upgrades are not cheap by any means, with the price tag of €25,999 (about US$35,000); you’ll have to pinch every penny if you want your C63 to perform like a Mcchip-dkr C63. Or if you have money burning a hole in your pocket, you can opt to buy the display model seen here for €84,999 (US$114,500).

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
