The Jaguar XK sports car has been around for quite a while, in its current format and it seems like Jaguar might be replacing it with an all-new car after they start selling the smaller F-Type sports car. Jaguar has been giving the XK minor and some major upgrades over the years, introducing models like the more powerful XKR and XKR-S.
The Jaguar XKR-S is powered by a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine that produces 550 horsepower and 501 pound-feet (680 Nm) of torque; the convertible is powered by the same engine with the same amount of output. The Jaguar XKR-S convertible sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).
To give the Jaguar XKR-S a bit of a different look, car tuning firm Arden has introduced the AJ 20 R-S package for the convertible. The package is mainly aesthetic but Arden will do engine upgrades if the customer chooses. The package consists of painted trim pieces such as the front grill surround, front bumper winglets, spoiler, and hood vents – in any color the customer chooses. Some of the added pieces include a pair of winglets on the lower front bumper, larger and more distinct side skirts, and a stainless steel mesh grill at the front.
Arden also offers the famous leaping cat ornament on the hood, I’m not sure if it’s retractable but it does seem to be missing on some pictures, maybe it’s magnetic? The Arden tuned Jaguar XKR-S Convertible rides on 21” Arden wheels, and the tuner also offers customized interiors based on customer specifications.
