Cosworth tuned Lotus Evora Enduro GT Concept Car

Lotus’s Motorsport division has taken the Evora GT4 Endurance to a whole new level with the Enduro GT Concept which will be the base line starting point for the GT2/GTE homologated cars for the FIA and ACO.

The Lotus Enduro GT Concept is to be powered by a 4-liter DOCH V6 VVT-i engine which will be mid-mounted and naturally aspirated. The tuning will be handled by Cosworth and putting out 440 bhp at 7,000 rpm while producing 460 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The power will be transferred to the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential transmission. Other performance parts include a twin-plate sintered clutch, performance air filter, and thermal coated exhaust manifold.

The Enduro GT’s chassis will be built from aluminum with the suspension being based on the double wishbone system with Ohlins dampers and co-axial coil springs.

The Lotus Evora Enduro GT will also ride on 18 inch forged wheels and braking will be provided via a performance brake system that includes 22mm race pads, aluminum belled discs, and six-piston calipers at the front while four-piston calipers at the rear wheels.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
