German car tuning firm ABT Sportsline brought their tuned version of the Audi R8 GT Spyder to the Geneva Motor Show. The car uses a lot of carbon fiber for weight reduction and looks pretty nice with the red and black exterior colors.
The car has been fitted with custom built carbon fiber pieces which include brand new front and rear bumpers, a new hood and trunk which holds a massive rear spoiler, new side skirts, mirrors and front windshield carbon fiber trim. Usually when this much customization takes place the end result is a hideous monster but that is not the case with the ABT R8 GT Spyder.
ABT Sportsline also increased the power output from the 5.2 liter FSI V10 engine to 612 horsepower with the help of a tuned ECU and a new sports exhaust. The Audi R8 GT Spyder reaches the 62 mph mark in 3.6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 199 mph (320 km/h).
The interior has been upgraded with red and black leather sports seats, red carbon fiber trim (which looks very nice), illuminated door sills, and custom made floor mats.
