A 17 second video of the best go-kart pileups I’ve ever seen. It reminds me of those Tour De France cycle race crashes where the guy in the lead falls and then everyone piles up on top of him. In this video I think the first few guys slipped on banana peels, Mario Kart style. Video after the jump.
That happened to me once at an indoor karting track. The front of my kart went under the belt holding the tire barrier together and then someone behind me went underneath me. As the karts behind him pushed him further underneath, the rear bumper of my kart bent his steering wheel in half!
Sounds crazy. I’ve never been Karting, got a virtual taste of it on GT5 last week and it seems like a lot of fun. Will be trying it out, hopefully without getting piled on 😉
