When the BMW X6 first appeared on the market back in 2008, it didn’t appeal to me one bit. Then they introduced the X6 with the M package and it somewhat grew on me. Two years after the introduction, German auto tuner, Vorsteiner, has finally sealed the deal for me.

With the launch of their new VRS Aero Package for the BMW X6 M, Vorsteiner has made the crossover look elegant, yet menacing.

They started out by adding a carbon front spoiler, which increases down force at the front axles and also channels more air to the front brakes and radiator. The kit also features a new hood with vent extracts to help cool down the 555 horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine.

At the back, a carbon diffuser replaces the factory plastic one with three modular fins and two vents. The modular fins help cool down the exhaust. A rear deck lid spoiler helps with the down force in addition to the front. In addition to all the body work, Vorsteiner finished the X6 off by adding forged 1-piece mono-block aluminum wheels with Michelin PS2 tires.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
