In the competitive world of supercars, fast is not fast enough. That’s why we have aftermarket car tuners who help turn supercars into something even more menacing. Aftermarket German car tuning firm TECHART has made a name for themselves over the years by providing Porsche enthusiasts more power.
For the Porsche 911 Turbo (997 series), TECHART has come up with a new performance package called the TA 097/T3. This conversion adds a sports air filter, new manifolds, TECHART Turbo Chargers VAG, high performance intercoolers and a tuned ECU. A small carbon fiber styling package to the engine bay is also added.
The factory Porsche 911 Turbo puts out 500 horsepower and 479 pound-feet (650 Nm) of peak torque. With the addition of the TECHART TA 097/T3, the horsepower jumps to a whopping 700 hp and 649 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque. The extra horsepower and torque sprint the Porsche 911 Turbo to 60 mph in a mere 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 219 mph.
