Revised 2011 Aston Martin GT4 Racer

2011-Aston-Martin-GT4

Aston Martin launched their GT4 Vantage V8 last year, only to upgrade it for the 2011 season. By using new enhancement from their V12 Vantage road car, the car receives new aerodynamics and increased down force.

The GT4 Vantage features new aerodynamic changes up front that include a new splitter, which helps increase down force and also helps direct cool air to the brakes and radiator. It also uses the V12’s larger trunk lid for more down force at the back. A new carbon fiber diffuser and rear underfloor are also added to create an area of low pressure under the rear to increase down force and channel more air through the new rear-mounted high capacity oil cooler.

With settle tweaks to engine, suspension and aerodynamic, Aston Martin is also offering the option of a race-developed, Bosch ABS and control traction system that has been specifically developed and calibrated by Bosch Motorsports for the GT4 Vantage.

The new GT4 Vantage was developed not only for the Aston Martin GT4 Challenge of Great Britain but also for the European GT4 Cup and any other series with a GT4 class around the world.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
