Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Performante Spyder

Lamborghini-Gallardo-Performante

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Performante Spyder Superleggera qualifies for the longest car name ever.  I can’t image imagine how long it will take to tell someone what kind of a supercar this is, when asked.

Lamborghini released some information (and lots of pictures) on the special edition Gallardo Performante, which weighs 3,725 pounds (1,485 kg) thanks to many new carbon fiber components.  The rear spoiler, diffuser, some under body components and the convertible cover are made out of carbon fiber.  The front bumper has been redone, looks more like the Superleggera coupe, for better aerodynamics.

The interior has been re-done with lots of Alcantara and carbon fiber pieces.  I quite like the Alcantara (which looks like suede) covered dashboard and seats.

The Gallardo Performante is powered by a 5.2 liter V10 that now produces 570 horsepower (419 kW) and 398 pound-feet (540 Nm) of torque which is delivered to all four wheels.  0 to 62 miles per hour is achieved in 3.9 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 201 mph.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
