Hamann first released their tuning kit for the BMW X6M back in January 2010 (before this site existed) called the X6M Tycoon EVO M. Now they’ve upgraded that kit with the Carbon Edition, this kit replaces a lot of the parts from the other kit with carbon fiber pieces hence the name.
The Hamann BMW X6M Tycoon EVO M got an upgrade to the engine to produce 670 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a whopping 701 pound-feet (950 Nm) of torque. The X6M Tycoon EVO can reach the 62 mph mark in a sports car-like 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h). To bring this beast to a stop, high performance MOV’IT brakes with 6 piston calipers in the front and 4 piston calipers in the back were installed.
As much as the Hamann X6M Tycoom EVO M Carbon is about the “go”, it’s even more about the “show”. The body consists of various new custom parts including an aggressive front bumper with LED daytime running lights and a carbon fiber lip, a carbon fiber hood, wider fender flares and side skirts, a new rear bumper with a carbon fiber diffuser and dual center exhaust tips, and two spoilers. The X6M also receives carbon fiber rear taillight covers and roof rails.
To finish off the sporty look, a set of 23” rims and a lowering kit was added; lowering the X6M by 40 mm.
The interior is equipped with brown/orange leather with suede inserts and brown ostrich leather (at least that’s what it looks like to me, please correct me if I’m wrong) trim has been added to the dashboard and the center console.
