Car tuning specialists Geiger Cars have just released their latest creation, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT640 Golden Snake. The car is based on the Shelby GT500 and it really packs a punch.
Geiger Cars installed a 2.3 liter compressor (supercharge?) to go with the 5.4 liter V8 engine along with an all new stainless steel exhaust system. The GT640 Golden Snake produces 631 horsepower (640 PS) and a maximum torque of 582 pound-feet (789 Nm). With the added power the Shelby can now reach the 62 mph mark in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h).
The Shelby GT640 Golden Snake comes with a carbon fiber hood with additional air intakes to keep the engine cool. A small front lip spoiler and 8.5” x 20” front and 10” x 20” rear wheels were added with Michelin Pilot high performance 255/35 ZR20 front and 285/30 ZR20 rear tires. To cope with the added power and overall better performance, Geiger installed H&R adjustable sports suspension.
The demo Geiger Cars Shelby GT640 Golden Snake is for sale for €89,000.
