The Audi R8 V10 in its stock form is pretty impressive super car, however, we’re always hearing about companies tuning them to get more performance out of the cars or to make them look different from stock.  Anderson Germany has also tuned an Audi R8 dubbed the “Racing Edition”, which comes with performance as well as body enhancements.

The upgrades include new ECU software, a sports air filter and a new light-weight exhaust system which weighs 37 pounds (17 kg) less than the stock exhaust.  The new system has racing cats and has a special valve that lets the driver adjust the exhaust sound.

The upgrade of the ECU and exhaust system results in 585 horsepower and a top speed of 203 mph (327 km/h) compared to 525 horsepower and 196 mph (315 km/h) in stock form.

The Anderson Germany Audi R8 V10 gets some very nice exterior and interior modifications including a new rear spoiler, a carbon fiber diffuser, a big carbon fiber front apron and carbon mirrors.  The R8 rides on 19 inch light-weight carbon coated rims that ride on 235/35 tires in the front and 295/30 tires in the back.  The interior receives many carbon fiber pieces such as the door trims, hand brake knob, ash tray, trim around the radio and the steering wheel.  The seats look very comfortable and have orange stitching which are also incorporated into the door panels and carpets.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
