I must admit, I’m not an expert when it comes to retro motorcycles but do really love the way the look, this post is not really going to go into much technical details because I’d be pretty much making it up if I did try to go that route.  Like the Kawasaki W800, the 2011 Triumph Bonneville T100 is a sweet looking retro motorcycle that is only retro on the outside, on the inside it includes all the modern technologies you’d expect from a cruiser.

The Triumph Bonneville T100 is powered by a 865 cc parallel-twin double overhead camshaft engine that produces 68 horsepower, the engine uses fuel-injection but uses fake pushrod tubes to keep the retro theme going.

The Bonneville T100 is available with a two-tone pint option and uses classic styled handlebar mounted gauges for the tachometer and speedometer.  The gauges also include a clock and a trip meter.  The exhaust is a classic Peashooter and the bike comes with spoked wheels with 19” tire in the front.  Disk brakes and modern suspension blends nicely into the classic styling of the Triumph Bonneville T100 motorcycle.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
