Motor Trend Magazine pits two of our favorite Italian exotics against each other to see who’s fastest; the beautiful Ferrari 458 Italia vs. the super-sexy Ducati 1198S.
The battle of the Italian Stallions is a pretty sweet video and who wouldn’t want to see these Italian beauties being tossed around the track, making some of the most beautiful noises known to man.
The original plan was to race the Ferrari 458 Italia against the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera but Lamborghini declined the invitation. I’m guessing they were afraid the 458 was going to put a proper spanking on the Gallardo. I’m glad Lambo declined because I’m not a big fan of the Gallardo and would rather see the Ducati and this also gives the “test” a new dimension; a two-wheeler vs. a four-wheeler.
