The next highly anticipated new car model would have to be the redesigned 2012 Porsche 911 (991). Since this is a Porsche we’re talking about, the next generation 911 isn’t going to be revolutionary, it’ll come with the same basic shape that we’ve seen for decades with minor updates to make it look a bit more refined.
The 2012 Porsche 991 is going to be powered by a new 3.4 liter boxer engine (instead of the current 3.6 liter engine) that will be capable of producing 340 horsepower and do the 0 – 62 mph run in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 180 mph (289 km/h). The car is said to be 2.2” longer and come with a ½“ lower roof. Below is a spy video of the 2012 Porsche 911 (991) and the car does look longer.
