Simbol Design K1 Attack?

After releasing the powerful Lavazza GTX-R, Simbol Design has just released the K1 Attack sports car.  The word on the street however is that this car is actually manufactured by a Slovakian company called K1 Engineering and has been around for a while (looking at one of the pictures it says “Simbol 2008”, the 2008 is probably referring to the year).  So once again these so-called expert automotive blogs got it wrong.  Simbol might have purchased one of these cars and slapped their names on it?  Who knows?

Anyways, the car is powered by an Alfa Romeo 2.0 liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing only 246 horsepower, which is not much for a car that has super car looks.  The K1 Attack is however very light, it goes from 0 to 60 mph in a respectable 4.9 seconds.

So the lesson of the day is, don’t believe everything you read on the interweb.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
