At First SuperCars, we love tuned cars, we love it even more when the tuning has been done to an exotic car, and the ultimate tuning is when it’s an exotic car that is also a race car.  Case in point, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ by German tuning and racing firm Reiter Engineering.

The Gallardo LP600+ has the standard tuned look with plenty of carbon fiber pieces, a front splitter, a free-flowing exhaust system, fancy wheels, and of course a massive rear wing.  From a racing point of view, the Lamborghini LP600+ has been put on a diet and now only weighs 2,635 pounds (1,190 kg) and the 5.2 liter V10 engine has been massaged to produce over 600 horsepower at 8,000 rpm.  The interior has been completely gutted and includes carbon fiber pieces and the glass has been replaced with Makrolon windows to achieve the weight loss.  The Reiter Engineering Gallardo LP600+ is not just for show, it will be raced in GT3 racing events.
