Official pictures and information is finally available for the highly anticipated Sportec package for the second generation of the Porsche Cayenne. The Swiss tuner has named the project SP580.
The Sportec SP580 gets treated to 22-inch Sportec Mono/7 forged wheels in a dark charcoal finish. The suspension department gets a face lift as well by adding an electronic suspension control module which enables the driver to lower the Cayenne by up to 30 millimeters. This would be ideal for drivers who drive on different road conditions on a daily basis.
The Swiss car tuning company also installed a Motronic system which give the vehicle an additional 80 horsepower and increases the torque by 74 pound-feet (100 Nm) as well. The exhaust note is also enhanced thanks to quad 90 mm tailpipes which is an in-house Sportec free-flow stainless steel exhaust system.
To be honest, the package is nothing special. These modifications can be done on your own without going through a dealer to get it. The only good thing is that you get an official badge.
