We all love to talk about and watch videos of really expensive supercars but not all of us can afford cars that cost as much as nice houses in rich neighborhoods. There are, however, cars that don’t quite cost so much but are still “hella” fast; so the good folks at Motor Trend Magazine decided to do a comparison test of sports cars that cost less than $100,000.
The contenders are:
Nissan GT-R vs. Chevrolet Corvette Z06 vs. Shelby GT500
The Nissan GT-R costs $90,950 (as tested) and is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8 liter V6 engine that produces 530 horsepower. The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 costs $98,010 and is powered by a 7.0 liter V8 engine that makes 505 horsepower. The Shelby GT500 costs a very reasonable $55,330 and is powered by a supercharged 5.4 liter V8 engine that makes 550 horsepower.
The test took place at the streets of Willow. Watch the video below to see who was victorious.
