More Than 50 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Pre-Ordered In Singapore

Lamborghini-Aventador-LP700-4-Rendering

With the recession of 2008, it seems exotic car manufacturers are putting more importance on the Asian auto market over the European and North American market.  And it makes sense, most of the growth seems to be coming from Far East countries and Lamborghini proved that with a pre-sale of its upcoming Murcielago replacement, the Aventador LP700-4.

Lamborghini has pre-sold around 50 units of the LP700-4 super car, at a reported SGD $1.50 million each (about $1.14 million USD), last month at a private screening of the car in Singapore.  The car was then flown in to Hong Kong, China, and Japan; they probably sold quite a few there as well.

This is pretty incredible for a car that hasn’t been publicly seen yet, except for a few camouflaged spy shots and recently leaked specs.  The Aventador LP700-4 is already looking like a very successful car and I’m sure the wait list is going to be very long.  Click here for the leaked Dealer Guide book which includes complete specs for the LP700-4.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
