Mercedes SLS AMG ‘Hawk’ By Hamann Motorsport

Mercedes SLS AMG Hawk by Hamann

In response to other tuners, Hamann Motorsport has unveiled their own version of a modified Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG dubbed as the ‘Hawk’ in a very unattractive “Everrose Gold” paint job.

The already powerful 6.2 liter V8 receives an additional 65 horsepower for a total of 636 HP and 501 pound-feet (679 Nm) of torque at only 4,850 rpm. The increase in power is a result of several components working together such as a new intake manifold, a new catalyst, high performance air filter, and a high performance free-flow titanium exhaust system. The top speed of the SLS AMG ‘Hawk’ is now 199 mph (320 km/h) while the 0-62 mph is improved by 0.2 seconds and now stands at 3.6 seconds.Everose Gold Hamann Hawk SLG AMG

The SLS AMG ‘Hawk’ also gets a suspension upgrade which allows the supercar to be lowered by an additional 30 mm thanks to the four height adjustable dampers and progressively wound springs.

The Hamann ‘Hawk’ also gets bodywork done to it although not as extreme as other tuners such as the SLS from FAB Design.  The ‘Hawk’ receives an all-new aggressive bumper and a carbon fiber hood while in the rear, the Benz gets a new large carbon fiber spoiler. The rear bumper also incorporates aggressive lines and space is provided to accommodate the quad tailpipes. And last but not least, the SLS AMG Hawk receives sexy 21-inch wheels in black.

Interior of Mercedes SLS AMG Hamann

As for the interior of the ‘Hawk’, Hamann uses a combination of leather, suede, and carbon fiber throughout the interior to complete the look.  The price tag is expected to be around € 389,000.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
