When I think of a Mercedes Sprinter, first thing that comes to mind is a delivery van, not luxury. That is until you come across the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Grand Edition. And speaking of grand, this one is likely to cost you many grands.

The Mercedes Sprinter Grand Edition has got to be the most luxurious van around and is very “Maybach or Rolls Royce like”. On the interior, you have access to pretty much anything you could ever want for you office and then some. The luxury van is basically an office on wheels. All that luxurious space on the inside is filled with two 32-inch flat panels TV’s, DVD players, sofa bed, reclining massage chairs, a refrigerator, satellite radio, 30,000-BTU HVAC system, and wireless internet just to name a few.

The drivers and passengers also have access to a touch screen LCD GPS system, touch screen AM/FM Satellite Radio, an amazing sound system, and a wireless headphone jack system.

The Sprinter Grand Edition is equipped with a 3.0 liter V6 turbo diesel engine putting out a 188 horsepower and 325 pound-feet (440 Nm) of torque. The van is available with a five-speed automatic and also features a hydraulic jack, ABS for all wheels, light and rain sensor, and a tire pressure monitoring system among a few other goodies.

Although the van is extremely nice on the inside with plenty of gadgets to please any business person, it does come at a hefty price tag of just under $190,000. Your basic Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is around the $40,000 mark. The vehicle will obviously appeal to a very niche market and is not intended for the masses.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
