A few months ago, we did an article on the Top Car Porsche Cayenne GT 2. If you guy’s thought that body kit for the Cayenne was a little subtle, then you might want to check out the Mansory Porsche Cayenne.
The Swiss luxury car tuner has made the Porsche Cayenne very aggressive in looks. Where the Top Car Cayenne might be a hit with the older crowd, the Mansory Cayenne is sure to get the young kids attention.
They start by using heaps of carbon fiber on the outside. The carbon fiber starts at the front and rear spoilers, mirror casings, rear diffuser, headlight and taillight surrounds, hood and side skirts. The front and rear wheel arch extensions make the Cayenne 60 mm wider at the front and 80 mm at the back. Customers can also choose from 21 to 23 inch wheels. To get the car lower to the ground, Mansory have developed a new air suspension which can lower the Cayenne down by 45 mm.
Moving into the engine bay, the 4.8 L V8 gets upgraded turbochargers, a tuned ECU, and a new stainless steel exhaust system. This upgrade is good for 690 horsepower and 590 pound-feet (800 Nm) of torque, an incredible increase over the factory 500 HP. The extra horsepower boosts (no pun intended) the Mansory Cayenne from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).
