The Maserati Quattroporte is THE luxury sedan for the man or woman that wants to stand out from the crowd and make a statement that he/she deserves more than the average Lexus, Mercedes, or BMW. Built by the Italians, you know the Quattroporte is built with a lot of passion and an extra emphasis on sportiness and driving dynamics.
The current (sexy) looking Quattroporte model started life in 2004 and has seen numerous updates over the years. Quattroporte simply means “four doors” in Italian but damn does it sound sexy. The car was designed by the famous Italian design-house Pininfarina and looks incredibly sporty and sexy in person; pictures don’t do the car justice.
The Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S is powered by a 4.7 liter V8 engine that produces 433 horsepower and 361 pound-feet (489 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters located on the steering wheel. The Quattroporte sprints from a standstill to 62 miles per hour in a very respectable 5.3 seconds (the car weighs 4,378 pounds (1,990 kg)) with a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h).
On the interior the Maserati Quattroporte comes with all the bells and whistles that we’re used to seeing in luxury cars of this caliber, including satellite navigation system, back up camera, high powered sound system, traction and stability control. The car comes with sporty carbon fiber trim and can be ordered with a variety of leather colors, including red.
