Go Kart On Steroids – Wiesmann Spyder Concept

Hot Wiesman Spyder Concept go kart

The Independent German car manufacturer, Wiesmann, has unveiled their latest vehicle at the Geneva Motor Show called the Spyder Concept. The Spyder is a purist sports car where it is only the driver, machine, and the road. The Spyder Concept has no windshield, no door, or even a roof. It’s technically a Go-Kart on steroids.

And when we say steroids, we mean it. This little 1,000kg monster can perform the 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds and has an approximate top speed of 180mph. The Spyder Concept is able to put down these types of numbers thanks to the 4.0 liter V8 producing 414 bhp.

The car is expected to go on sale by late 2012 or sometime in 2013.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
