Ford Falcon Boss 335 GT FPV

In the car enthusiast world, when people hear the word “Boss”, they think of the Ford Mustang Boss 302. That word has now made it to the land down under with the new Ford Falcon Boss 335 GT. Since the Mustang is not sold in Australia, they have used the Ford Falcon as the platform for the Boss 335 GT.

Ford’s performance division of Australia, FPV (Ford Performance Vehicles) has given the Boss 335 GT a little more horsepower than the new 2012 Mustang Boss 302. The Boss 335 GT’s supercharge 5.0 DOHC V8 puts down 450 horsepower and 420 pound-feet (569 Nm) of torque, which is 10 more hp and 40 more lb-ft of torque than the North American Boss Mustang.

This power is laid down through a 6 speed manual transmission and 19 inch wheels. To bring this beast to a stop, oversized cross-drilled and ventilated Brembo brakes are fitted at all four corners.

To make this Ford Falcon an official Boss, the Boss livery has been added to the outside as well as the inside. Unfortunately, this Boss 335 GT is for Aussie’s only and will run you in the neighborhood of $70,000.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
