Ferrari Presents The 2012 FF

Ferrari-Four-FF-Hatchback-Side

Ferrari have just released pictures and some info on the much anticipated 612 Scaglietti replacement car, however, I didn’t expect it to be a four-wheel-drive hatchback, this is the first time Ferrari has used a four-wheel-drive system on their cars.  I saw spy shots of it but I thought it was a joke by Ferrari!  The car is called the FF or Ferrari Four.

Overall, the car doesn’t look too bad, I mean it’s still a Ferrari and is designed by Pininfarina.  The front seems to be borrowed from the Ferrari 458 Italia with a bit of tweaking to it.  The side and rear profile is going to take a lot of time getting used to it.  The car should be able to seat four, not sure how big the back seat is but it should at least be able to seat lucky rich kids.

This car is a Ferrari GT car so we know it’ll be powerful, it’s powered by a 6.3 liter V12 engine that produces 651 horsepower and 504 pound-feet (683 Nm) of torque with a 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) time of a lightening quick 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 208 mph (335  Km/h).

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
