FAB Design Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gulfstream

Not to be out done by all the other car tuning companies present at the Geneva Motor Show, FAB Design brought their tuned version of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG called the Gulfstream.  This gullwinged car seems to want to fly.

The somewhat conservative styling of the SLS AMG is no more; the FAB Design Gulfstream features a whole lot of custom bodywork.  At the front is a new wide bumper with two massive air-intakes below the headlights with vertical LED daylight running lights, showcasing the “all-business” look of the car.  The car is much wider than stock and features new custom front and rear fenders and new side skirts, the front fenders feature more “speed holes” as does the new rear bumper.  The car comes with a roof mounted air scoop, not really sure what the purpose of that is.

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gulfstream’s engine has been tuned to produce 562 horsepower (570 PS) and 509 pound-feet (690 Nm) of torque.  The added power helps the car reach 62 mph in 3.8 seconds with a maximum speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).

The interior receives new upholstery in the form of body-color matching black and white leather on the seats and the door panels.

The FAB Design Mercedes SLS AMG Gulfstream may be overkill to some people but I kind of like the design.  It looks like a car from Need For Speed or Forza Motorsports video games.

I've been writing about cars for the last 8 years, but I've loved everything with an engine since I was a kid. I'll take the sound of high revving naturally aspirated engine over music, any day! Favorite Car: Porsche Cayman GT4
