After many complaints and a petition on Facebook, North America will be receiving the Audi TT-RS in limited numbers. The numbers are unknown in terms of pricing, how many, and when. This might be a good strategy to get Audi fans interested and of course, place pre-orders.
The Audi TT-RS will feature a turbo charged 2.5 liter inline five motor which is capable of putting down an impressive 360 horsepower and 332 ft lb of torque. As per usual, power will go to all wheels with their Quattro AWD system. Power will be sent to the wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. Rumors have it that the Audi TT-RS won’t even get an option of the DSG gearbox (computer does the shifting for you with this system). True car guys won’t be complaining much about not having this option. The Audi TT-RS will be able to do the 0-60mph in only 4.5 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 155 miles per hour.
