Porsche unveiled their latest hybrid car, the Panamera S Hybrid, at the Geneva Motor Show.  The Panamera Hybrid will use the same system found in the Cayenne Hybrid that has a combined horsepower of 380.

The Panamera S Hybrid gasoline engine is a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 unit which produces 3????
33 horsepower and the electric motor produces 47 HP (34 kW).  The car can be driven by either the gasoline or electric motor or both combined.  When only the electric motor is used, the range is about 1.24 miles (2 km) and the car can reach speeds of up to 53 mph (85 km/h).  The engine(s) is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and the hybrid is able to achieve 34.6 mpg (6.8 L/100 km) when equipped with optional lower-resistance Michelin tires.  The fuel-mileage goes down to 33.1 mph (7.1 L/100 km) when standard tires are used.
