H&R has been improving suspension setups on stock cars since the 1970’s and virtually have an upgrade for every car imaginable. This time, they decided to take a brand new Volkswagen Jetta and give it a subtle make over starting with the suspension.
The sport springs installed on the 2011 Jetta helped lower the car by 1.3 inches and it also helped stiffen up the ride to provide better handling around the corners. The wheels were also replaced with 19.8.5 OZ Super Turismo LM. The brakes have also been upgraded to a big brake kit from Brembo consisting of 14.4 inch rotors and four piston Monobloc calipers. The car wouldn’t be complete if it didn’t sound as good as it rides so an exhaust system by Vibrant Performance was added.
The exterior body modifications include a simple body kit and can be ordered directly from Volkswagen. The vinyl graphics on the car are kept to a minimum and tastefully done.
